Minimum Requirements: There is a $50.00 food and beverage minimum required to order with Sage Catering. Should your order be less than $50.00, we are happy to suggest alternate solutions.
Event Notice: Orders should be placed two weeks prior to the event date. This gives catering time necessary to insure a successful event and allows us time to schedule staff and order products.
Late Charges: Orders placed with less than 7 Business Days notice will be charged a fee of $20 or 10% of your order to cover the cost of last minute staffing and purchasing.
Final Guest Count: The final guest count or guarantee (up or down 10% or less) needs to be called in 3 Business Days prior to your event by 12pm (if your event is on a Tuesday the count should be called in on the previous Thursday). Changes, under or over 10% should be called in 7 business days by 12pm in advance for scheduling and ordering purposes. This guaranteed count is what will be billed. Sage Catering will make a few meals over your guest count to accommodate last minute guests, but these guests will be added to your final bill.
Cancellations: Orders are cancelled within three working days of your event and will receive a processing fee of 10% of your total bill. Orders cancelled within 24 hours of your event will be charged a 20% restocking fee and 100% of any specialty items ordered for your event.
Vegetarian Guests: Sage Catering does offer a variety of options for your vegetarian or vegan guests. Simply let us know how many guests you have and we will design the appropriate option to match your menu.
Service Times: Both menu prices and food and beverage volumes are based on an average 1.5 hr event. Hot and cold food sent out to events is designed and set-up to stay within safe temperatures for that time period. If you are anticipating events longer than that time frame, special arrangements need to be made with your sales representative.
Left-Overs: Due to health regulations and for food illness safety reasons we do not allow customers to remove perishable items from an event. Catering does not provide to-go containers for non-perishable items from an event. Customers are not to remove catering equipment (baskets, bowls, platters, coffee air-pots, etc.) from the event site. If catering is required to return to a different site to pick-up equipment or supplies taken form an event, the $15 pick-up/delivery fee will apply. Equipment missing from the event site will be billed to the clients account at replacement cost.
Bar Policies: Bar service must be ordered at least 10 days in advance of event date. Catering will submit a wine waiver to the appropriate department for approval. Alcohol is only served to guests 21 years of age or older. The client must secure their own alcohol and bring it to the event one hour prior to start time.

Bartenders are $15 per hour with a 2 hour minimum of service. 1 bartender per 50 guests or less will be scheduled.
